Do any of your Alaskan cruises get to see the Northern Lights?
Looking to see the Northern lights as my sweet friend and I were thinking about going to Iceland to see them and she was in a car accident and passed away. Today is her birthday and I feel the need to complete this adventure in her memory.
The Northern Lights are most easily seen near the Arctic Circle in the winter. NCL cruises to Alaska from late spring until early autumn and stays quite a bit south of the Arctic Circle. It may be possible to see the lights during a cruise, but unfortunately it is not likely.

. I want to get a room and stay the night and fly back monday. Is that a problem?
My seven day alaska cruise is 5/2021. I arrive back on a sunday in seattle at sunrise. I want to spend that night in seattle and fly back the next day. Can that be possible?
If you have booked an NCL package which includes air fare, it may not be possible. NCL selects the airline and flight time for you. If you only book the cruise through NCL and make your own arrangements for your connecting travel, there would be no problem with booking extra nights in your city of departure or at the end of your cruise. In your case you may find that your hotel room may not be ready for occupancy as soon as you depart the ship, but you should be able to leave your luggage with the hotel staff while you explore the city, then retrieve the bags when you complete your check-in later that day.
