Additional cost

HI-would like to know what activities on board cost above the cruise cost.. I know the casino, arcade and photos, etc..I am looking for like putt putt, pool tables, slides, etc..thanks

Pool tables are charged to your cabin by swiping your key card, just like an arcade game. Putt pull (mini golf) was free when we were on Breakaway, Escape, and Getaway. Slides and ropes course are free also. We've been on ships with the race track (separate charge) and laser tag (separate charge).

When can we board for an 11:00 PM departure

Our cruise departs out of New York with an 11:00 PM departure time on a Tuesday. The cruise is repositioning from Miami with no passengers and was wondering what time we will actually be able to board the ship.

I was on an 11PM departure out of New York last year and we began boarding about 4:00. It was complicated by the fact that there was another ship departing at 4:00, so your experience may differ. When you check in online you'll be given a selection of arrival times.

The elevators stop at deck 16 - the Haven Courtyard. There's a stairway up to the sundeck.

Disembarkation times depend on when the actual arrival time at the port is as well as clearance from the port authorities. You will have to listen to the on board announcements about arrival and disembarkation times.

TV Channels available

Not sure if I should bring my laptop and purchase the full Wi-Fi package as I need to watch TV to fall asleep. Is there any way to get a listing of the channels available? Thank You. I will be on Breakaway New England/Canada mid-October..

There are maybe 10-12 channels on the entire system. Some are ship related like; safety info, port shopping and excursions, ship current location, shipboard activities. There are a couple news channels, a couple movie channels, a few sports channels and a few channels with random programming that loops but if you're looking for anything more than that it's just not there.

Drink packages are dependent on your individual reservation, however you selected when you booked your cruise. Cabin minibars are generally not part of the drink package and are charged accordingly.

I just asked NCL in a chat; their answer: "unfortunately, there is no self-service laundry onboard, we do offer laundry service which is charged by items washed, for instance, undergarments are $1.95, t-shirts are $4.95, and pajama set $7.95"

Comedy is a regular entertainment activity. Each ship usually has comedians on board for scheduled performances, check the Freestyle Daily for when and where to see them. The earlier shows are generally family appropriate. Late night shows are definitely adult only.

Pool hours for each day of the cruise will be posted in the freestyle daily but plan on it being open all day but closed at night for cleaning and during any time weather dictates.
