Savusavu, Fiji

There are not many places in the world where you can tour waterfalls. This is one of the best! The town is only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the port and the way there, is filled with small shops selling local wares that keep the stroll amusing. Tour the port or head straight inland and find magical waterfalls like the Vuadomo or Nakawaga, which you can swim in! Head to Vuadomo Village, just down the hill from the falls. The locals will gladly tour you around and show you how they live in exchange for tips. Take a taxi to hot springs and thermal pools or treat the group to local flavors at the Savuavu Farmer’s Market. Savusavu is a delight from the moment you dock until right before departure.
