OVERVIEW
Walk along the ocean floor wearing no equipment other than a Sea Trek diving helmet for an up-close view of the marine life darting about the coral reefs. After a brief introduction to helmet diving, you will be ready to explore the crystal-clear waters off Lanzarote. Helmet diving is easy to learn. Just slip the helmet comfortably over your head so it rests on your shoulders. Air is supplied to the helmet through a tube connected to an air tank on the water’s surface that follows wherever you walk. There isn’t an air regulator or mouthpiece, so you can breathe just like you normally do. You can even wear prescription glasses or contact lenses because your head will not get wet while helmet diving. You can expect to observe an ever-changing parade of brightly colored fish, large groupers, teeny seahorses and perhaps a loggerhead turtle or two.

HELPFUL HINTS
• Dress in weather-appropriate clothing with a swimsuit underneath..
• Bring a towel and sunscreen.
• Wear flat comfortable walking shoes.
Need to Know:
Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age. The tour is not considered suitable for wheelchair guests or those guests with mobility concerns. There are various surfaces: gravel, uneven. Some steps to negotiate. It is recommended to bring dry clothes to change after the dive. Guests can wear sunglasses, prescription glasses and contact lenses as head and face remain completely dry. No previous experience is necessary.
