OVERVIEW
Guests who are fully dependent on their mobility device are eligible for this excursion and are required to bring their own wheelchair/scooter.
Drive through Casablanca in an accessible vehicle that comfortably accommodates just six passengers and stop at landmarks that reveal the rhythms of everyday life in Morocco’s largest city. You will get a great feel for Casablanca on the drive to the Hassan II Mosque, a marvel of modern Islamic architecture that can hold up to 25,000 worshippers. Part of the mosque is built over the ocean, inspired by the Quranic verse that god’s throne is on the water. It also features one of the world’s highest minarets. You will notice a blend of French colonial and Moroccan architecture in the Habbous district, which is mostly flat so you can more easily get around from shop to shop. The exterior of the Royal Palace is also well worth a look as it is the main residence of Morocco’s royal family while in Casablanca. Mohammed V Square is equally photogenic with all the beautiful municipal buildings surrounding it.
