OVERVIEW

Cruise into the sheltered crystal-clears waters off the Kuza Beach & Adventure Park and snorkel at three locations teeming with marine life. Your first stop will be the Colombia Reef, an excellent area for snorkeling that offers an ever-changing parade of marine creatures. Keep an eye out for snappers, groupers and trumpetfish, a species are named for the shape of its snout. You will also snorkel Palancar, the northernmost reef, where you can expect to see similar and different species. Finally, you will reach the main attraction, El Cielo, a sandbar sanctuary that primarily attracts starfish and stingrays, which really stand out against the white sandy sea bottom. You may even spot sea turtles gracefully swimming by. The nearby reefs draw an abundance of colorful tropical fish, who find shelter and food in these prime breeding grounds. Back at the adventure park, you will enjoy free time to access the amenities.

HELPFUL HINTS

• Dress in weather-appropriate clothing with a swimsuit underneath.
• Bring a towel and reef-safe sunscreen.
• Wear flat comfortable walking shoes. Water shoes are recommended.

Note: Participants must be at least 10 years of age and maximum age is 75. Beach club amenities include full access to the beach area and the activities program by the beach. Access to beach chairs is available on a first come, first served basis. Tour is sensitive to weather conditions. Beach water clarity can vary throughout the year. Seaweed presence may be expected due to seasonal changes. Tour is not recommended for wheelchair users or other with limited mobility. Guests must be able to swim, and a waiver is required to participate. Participants should be in moderate to good physical condition, comfortable swimming, and able to use snorkel gear. Guests who are pregnant or have asthma, respiratory, heart conditions, or other medical concerns should not participate. Bring towel from the ship. The use of Reef-safe Sunscreen is strongly encouraged.
