OVERVIEW

Tear through the jungle in the most undeveloped part of Cozumel Island and then enjoy the amenities of an exclusive beach club. After taking the wheel of a Can-Am Maverick, you will head to the east side of the island in a caravan of off-road vehicles. You will zip down dirt roads and through jungle-like vegetation, pausing along the way to hike and hear stories about the ancient Mayas. If the ground is muddy, all the better, as your ATV is made to negotiate rugged terrain. Not much of the island has been developed and the area that you will explore is among the least populated, so you can expect an exhilarating, carefree ride. You won’t be roughing it the entire time as you will stop for an hour or so at the beach club. Feel free to take a refreshing dip in the ocean, snorkel in the crystal-clear sea or simply relax.

HELPFUL HINTS

• Dress in weather-appropriate clothing.
• Wear flat comfortable walking shoes.

Need to Know:

Note: The minimum age to participate is 8 years of age. Participants must be at least 16 years of age in order to drive and be accompanied by an adult. Drivers must present a valid driver´s license and have it with them at all times while driving. Vehicles accommodate up to 4 participants and may be paired up with other guests. The minimum age to snorkel is 10 years of age. Pregnant women and guests with back/neck injuries or heart conditions are not permitted. Helmet and goggles are provided and must be worn for your safety. Insect repellent is highly recommended. The use of closed-toe shoes is mandatory. The snorkeling portion is optional and medical restrictions apply. Snorkel equipment will be provided. In case the inclement weather the snorkel activity may be not available. Bring a swimsuit, towel, biodegradable sunscreen, and cash for meals and beverages at the Beach Club. Waiver must be signed. Maximum age restriction 65 years old, no exceptions. Maximum weight per buggy is 360 lbs. Minimum height to DRIVE is 62 inches.
