OVERVIEW
Cruise one of the world’s longest and deepest fjords in a catamaran while observing some of the most iconic wildlife in Alaska. The Fjordland is a twin-hulled, 65-foot catamaran that is ideal for sightseeing, especially with its large windows and high speed, so time isn’t wasted between viewing opportunities. Although you will see superlative attractions such as the oldest lighthouse in Alaska and gorgeous scenery such as glacier-fed Sawmill Falls, the largest waterfall on Lynn Canal, wildlife is the ultimate attraction. It all probability, you will observe enormous humpback whales breaching the water’s surface and small pods of orcas that are usually made up of family members. Both sights are spectacles that you won’t soon forget. Stellar sea lions are typically seen lounging about the rocky shores in such large numbers that their main rookery is named Sea Lion Rock. You can also expect to spot plenty of harbor seals and bald eagles soaring high above.
