OVERVIEW

Drive an all-terrain vehicle toward the hauntingly barren North Cape and behold the natural beauty of this northernmost point in Europe. After a briefing to ensure that you maximize the experience, you will ride off caravan-style behind the guide. You can either drive your own quad ATV or opt for a double ATV and share the ride. In the latter case, feel free to switch drivers whenever you please. The farther north you travel across Magerøya Island, the wilder and more stunning the landscape. Along the way, you will pause for photos at viewpoints such as Tufjord, a bleakly beautiful spot that overlooks the coast. The guide will describe the highlights of the North Cape, whose northernmost section flattens out before ending at a near-vertical cliff that plummets more than 1,000 feet into the sea. You will take a different route back and enjoy yet another perspective of the wild tundra.

Note: Single occupancy, self driven. Participants must be at least 8 years of age and minimum height of 4 ft. Waiver must be signed. Drivers must be 18 years of age and present a driver license. Weather appropriate clothing; sunglasses; and flat, comfortable closed toe shoes are recommended.
