One Day Safari To Tsavo

OVERVIEW

Observe some of Africa’s most iconic animals on two game drives through Tsavo East National Park, home to the Big Five – elephants, lions, leopards, rhinoceroses and Cape buffaloes. You will travel through the park’s savannah grasslands in a special 4x4 vehicle with open roof hatches that are ideal for taking photos and viewing the abundant wildlife. During the morning game drive, when the animals tend to be quite active, you may see grazing animals such as gazelles and impalas and perhaps lions on the hunt. Different types of animals are typically seen on the later game drive. They may include zebras, leopards, giraffes, ostriches, serval cats and hundreds of species of birds. Along the way, you will stop at the manmade watering hole Aruba Dam, where herds of elephants usually gather throughout the day. The elephants will appear to be red because they are constantly dust-bathing in the park’s red volcanic soil.
