It won’t take long to reach Tres Islas Brewery, a favorite local spot named for three islands just off shore. After indulging in one of the brewery’s exceptional craft beers, you will drive through the historical district to Habana House Mazatlan. Besides offering an extraordinary selection of single-malt whiskeys and cognacs, this atmospheric lounge has earned the distinction of being a certified Habanos specialist. That means its Habanos – which are Cuban cigars – must be stored in optimal conditions to ensure their flavor and aroma, and its staff must be highly knowledgeable to recommend the perfect cigar for any palate. The third venue will be an oyster bar in the trendy Golden Zone, where you will be served a Cerveza Pacifico. This pilsner-style lager was first brewed in Mazatlan in 1900 and has become its signature beer.
