The Rum Cake Factory offers a favorite dessert on the islands, and you have the opportunity to sample the various flavors. What could be more authentic than tasting an array of delectable food samples and watching the local Bahamians play dominoes at historical Fort Montagu. Feel free to join them in a game of dominoes while taking in the amazing sea view. You will see the fresh fishmarket from the curb before you travel to Potters Cay. Few places have fresher seafood than the dock at Potter’s Cay, where you will sample conch salad. The Fish Fry at Arawak Cay is also known for its conch, especially when deep-fried in a peppery fritter. The shrimp fritters are just as popular, and you can expect to be offered samples along with a dipping sauce to enhance the flavor. You will also get a chance to try the very popular grilled corn and then we are off to Bahama Grill for a variety of chicken wings in Barbecue and Guava sauce or just plain. There is also peas and rice and macaroni and cheese prepared in a way that you will only find in the Bahamas. It is Delicious and there are local beers and soft drinks provided throughout the tour.
