OVERVIEW
Join a behind-the-scenes tour of a plantation that has been cultivating coffee since 1860. To reach La Eva, you will travel through Costa Rica’s lush interior to Sarchi, a town renowned as a crafts center. There you will see the world’s largest oxcart, a brightly painted national symbol that weighs a staggering two tons. Oxcarts were once used extensively to transport coffee beans. You will have the opportunity to purchase some of the company’s specialty coffee before settling in for a buffet lunch at El Jardin, a restaurant that cooks authentic Costa Rican cuisine. After dining, feel free to meander through its cactus garden.

Need to Know:
Note: Guests will encounter mostly level walking surfaces with short distances; however, some steps and uneven areas at La Eva Coffee Farm may present challenges for those with mobility limitations. The photo stop in Sarchí will be conducted from the motor coach, with no disembarkation at the main square. Coffee processing may not be active during the visit; however, the full process will be explained in detail during the guided tour. Comfortable walking shoes and light clothing are recommended for your comfort.
