Explore a side of Tahiti not commonly seen by visitors during a scenic off-road journey through this idyllic island, which nature lovers will enjoy.

Board your 4-wheel drive vehicle at the pier and venture deep into the unspoiled interior of Tahiti. Head towards the East Coast, passing by the island coastal road. While passing through bustling Papeete cannot be avoided, you will soon leave it behind and make your way to the Papenoo Valley.

Pass cascading waterfalls, luxuriant tropical vegetation, exotic flowers, and discover an array of unspoiled treasures. Make sure you bring your camera to capture the beauty of the scenery and the breathtaking views from this valley. Dependent on timing, you may be able to take a quick refreshing dip in a river on the way.

Note: This tour is not available to guests who utilize a wheelchair or have limited mobility. Participants must be able to manage one high step to get on/off the vehicle. Tour involves rough off-road driving. is not recommended for guests with back, hip or neck injuries, those who suffer motion sickness/vertigo or pregnant women. Vehicles have no air-conditioning and each seats a maximum of 8 passengers. Large families/groups may be split into different vehicles. Guests who wish to take a dip in the waterfall's pool should wear a swimsuit under clothes and bring a towel from the ship. There are no changing facilities. Those who participate in any water activities do so at their own risk and responsibility. Your driver will also be your guide and commentary will be limited. Access to Papenoo Valley is dependent on the prevailing river level. In the event of rainy weather, an alternate itinerary may be done if valley access is restricted.
