Book Early
Our most popular tours sell out quickly so we recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment.
We’ll get the adrenaline flowing as you board one of our super trucks at the pier. The trucks have all been modified to face even the harshest road and weather conditions. We begin our adventurous journey by driving drive to Raufarholshellir Cave, one of the longest and best-known lava tubes in Iceland. Unique experience and a great opportunity to witness the inner workings of a volcanic eruption as one walks in the path of lava that flowed during the Leitahraun eruption, which occurred east of the Bláfjöll mountains about 5200 years ago. From there we will take a scenic drive to Stokkseyri where we will enjoy a langoustine lunch at restaurant Fjöruborðið.
After lunch we’ll drive onwards to Krýsuvík geothermal area where the striking landscape has been shaped by volcanic eruptions and violent movements of the earth. In the geothermal field powerful jets of steam escape from deep below the earth’s crust and the multicolored pools of boiling mud bubble and pop continuously. We will pass lake Kleifarvatn on our way back to the city with a possible stop at Indjánahöfði cape. We will also experience some jeep adventure when passing through Breiðdalur valley. Finally, we return to Reykjavik and the pier.
