White Pass Journey To Glacier Station

OVERVIEW

Get a taste of life during the Klondike Gold Rush in the late 1890s by riding a vintage train that runs along the White Pass & Yukon railway route that was once used to transport prospectors to the gold fields. Stepping aboard is like stepping back in time as the train cars have been meticulously restored and many of the original features have been preserved. During the ride to Glacier Station and back, the train will gently sway and rock on the narrow-gauge rails just like it did more than a century ago. The scenery will be extraordinary the entire way and you will enjoy ever-changing sweeping views of the mountainous wilderness through the large viewing windows. You will follow the meandering Skagway River and pass attractions such as photogenic Bridal Veil Falls, Rocky Point and the Gold Rush Cemetery, the final resting place for some of Skagway’s most outrageous historical characters. Enlightening commentary will enhance the experience.
