While walking through downtown, you will have the opportunity to capture panoramic photos of imposing San Cristobal Castle and San Felipe del Morro, a fortress completed in 1790, despite being started about 250 years earlier. Other photo-worthy historical sites include Colón Square and Quinto Centenario Square, which respectively salute Christopher Columbus and his second voyage to the Americas.

Fortaleza Street may well be the capital city’s most festive-looking area to snap a selfie because an art installation of hundreds of colorful umbrellas hangs above its cobbled pedestrian walkway. Every locale has been chosen for its beauty and cultural importance, so you will be sure come away with countless memorable photos.

End your tour at a Local Rum Shop, a unique venue a few meters from your cruise ship where you will have the opportunity to taste the famous Hand Shake Colada and learn more about the rum culture on this beautiful island.
