Norwegian Cruise Line Takes Delivery of Norwegian Bliss
Cruise fans rejoice! Norwegian Bliss is officially part of the Norwegian Cruise Line family! The 18-month long building process concluded on the morning of April 19th when Norwegian Cruise Line took delivery of the sixteenth ship in the fleet from Meyer Werft during a ceremony in Bremerhaven, Germany.
Norwegian Bliss will begin her transatlantic journey on April 21st but will first showcase all she has to offer to her first guests during a European inaugural preview cruise hosted by Norwegian Cruise Line president and CEO Andy Stuart and Harry Sommer, executive vice president of international business development.
But this is only the beginning; festivities will continue as she makes her way from Europe to the United States for an inaugural tour beginning in New York, then Miami, Los Angeles, and finally at her home port in Seattle for the grand christening ceremony.
