Account Information
The Program is an individual-oriented program. Your cruise summaries and promotion materials will be sent to the address or email address you provide. You are responsible for advising the Program of any changes. Norwegian will not have any liability for misdirected mail or the consequences thereof.
These Terms and Conditions are further subject to all other Norwegian terms, conditions, and policies found at www.ncl.com.
We reserve the right to terminate, modify, revise, or change the Program and these Terms, in whole or part, at any time with or without notice. Changes may revise use of benefits, availability of benefits, features of offers, and any other element of the Program. Changes may result in a reduction in the value of the Program or status achieved, and may also result in forfeiture of benefits.
The Program is offered at the sole discretion of Norwegian. The Program is available to individuals for their personal use only and is limited to one account per individual. Corporations, associations or other groups may not participate in the Program. To be eligible, members must provide and maintain a valid email address. Only one account may be associated with one email address. Norwegian reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse to create an account or provide benefits for any reason.
Shore Excursion Discounts – Silver, Gold, Platinum, Sapphire, Diamond & Ambassador
The amount of the shore excursion discount is determined by the Latitudes tier level of the guest booking the excursion: 10% for Silver, Gold and Platinum members, 15% for Sapphire and Diamond members, and 20% for Ambassador members.
Discounts are eligible for pre-paid and/or pre-booked excursions.
If a guest pre-books a shore excursion before embarking on the cruise, the applicable discount will be applied on board. If a guest pre-pays for a shore excursion before embarking on the cruise, the applicable discount will be applied at the time of booking/payment. Discounts are not reflected in the shopping section of My NCL on ncl.com. You will see the discount in the shopping cart upon check out. The discount is only combinable with Norwegian’s More At Sea promotion. It is not combinable with any other promotion or discounts. If a More At Sea shore excursion credit is on the reservation, the More At Sea credit is to be taken off the total bill first and then the Latitudes shore excursion discount is applied.
The shore excursion discount benefit has no monetary value and is non-refundable.
We encourage guests to pre-pay/pre-book excursions as our most popular tours sell out quickly. However, guests can book excursions once on board. Each guest on the reservation must identify themselves as a Latitudes Rewards member and present their keycard in person to shore excursion staff at time of booking to receive the discount. The discount must be commensurate with each individual guests Latitudes Rewards tier level.
Please note that Latitudes discounts for shore excursions will not be applied post cruise.
Laundry - Gold, Platinum, Sapphire, Diamond & Ambassador
The amount of the bulk bag laundry service discount is determined by the Latitudes tier level of the guest claiming the benefit: Gold members receive fifty (50%) percent off of retail price of bulk bag laundry service, and Platinum, Sapphire, Diamond, and Ambassador members receive one (1) bag bulk bag laundry service at no cost.
Bulk bag laundry service is subject to availability. The discount will be reflected on the final bill at the end of your sailing. Any request by Gold, Platinum, Sapphire, Diamond, and Ambassador members for bulk bag laundry service must be made pursuant to the terms of the promotion guidelines. To resolve any billing discrepancies, guests must visit a Latitudes Rewards representative (CruiseNext Manager). When utilizing bulk bag laundry service, Norwegian shall in no way be held responsible for the occurrence of any of the following:
- Norwegian is not responsible for clothing that bleeds, shrinks or otherwise changes as a result of normal washing.
- Norwegian is not responsible for lost articles of clothing unless proven Norwegian was responsible for the loss.
- Norwegian is not responsible for "hand wash only" or "dry clean only" and is not responsible for checking for these labels in garments.
- Norwegian is not responsible for any loss or damage to any personal or non-cleanable items left in the clothing or bags such as currency, jewelry, etc,
- Norwegian reserves the right to refuse to clean any garment.
- Norwegian does not guarantee the removal of all stains.
Behind-the-Scenes Tour – Platinum, Sapphire, Diamond & Ambassador
All Platinum, Sapphire, Diamond and Ambassador members are eligible to join Norwegian on a complimentary Behind-the-Scenes Tour of a Norwegian ship. Behind-the-Scenes Tours are only available on sailings five (5) days or longer. Norwegian reserves the right to cancel these tours for any reason at any time, in its sole discretion. In the event of a cancellation, Norwegian will attempt to notify the guest as soon as reasonably possible. The number of guests on one tour cannot exceed 20 per group. As space is limited, places are allocated on a ‘first come first served basis’. There is no minimum number of guests needed to run the tour.
Norwegian reserves the right to remove any individual from the tour should such individual behave in a manner which Norwegian deems disruptive. Tour access to any areas of the ship is limited, and is subject to the ship's policies and procedures.
Wi-Fi Package Discount – Platinum, Sapphire, Diamond & Ambassador
The amount of the Wi-Fi package discount is determined by the Latitudes tier level of the guest: 15% for Platinum, 20% for Sapphire, 25% for Diamond and Ambassador members.
Wi-Fi package discounts are eligible on the Wi-Fi package (excluding the Wi-Fi package included with More At Sea™). Discount may be applied online if the Wi-Fi package is purchased prior to the cruise or once the guest is onboard.
Wi-Fi package is based on number of cruise nights. There will be one login provided for the stateroom. Each Wi-Fi package can only be used on one device at a time. The Wi-Fi package discount benefit has no monetary value and is non-refundable.
Early Pre-booking Access for Entertainment, Dining, Onboard Activities – Platinum, Sapphire, Diamond & Ambassador
Entertainment can be pre-booked 26 days prior to sailing for Platinum and above members. For Platinum, Diamond and Sapphire members, dining can be pre-booked 125 days prior to sailing and for Ambassadors, dining can be pre-booked 130 days prior to sailing.
All pre-booking is subject to availability. NCL reserves the right to turn off pre-booking features at any time.
Wines Around the World Tasting – Platinum, Sapphire, Diamond & Ambassador
All Platinum, Sapphire, Diamond and Ambassador members are eligible to join a complimentary Wines Around the World Tasting experience. Wines Around the World Tasting experience are only available on sailings five (5) days or longer. Norwegian reserves the right to cancel these tastings for any reason at any time, in its sole discretion. In the event of a cancellation, Norwegian will attempt to notify the guest as soon as reasonably possible.
The number of guests on one tour cannot exceed 50 per group. As space is limited, places are allocated on a ‘first come first served basis’. Platinum, Sapphire, Diamond, and Ambassador members may sign up for the event at the CruiseNext desk by 9 pm on embarkation day. Guests will be advised of the details for this benefit including the date, time, and place where this event will take place at the CruiseNext desk on embarkation day. There is no minimum number of guests needed to run the tasting. Invitations for this event are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash value or other beverage experiences. Norwegian reserves the right to remove any individual from the tasting should such individual behave in a manner which Norwegian deems disruptive.
Sail & Sustain Mixology Experience – Diamond, Ambassador
All Diamond and Ambassador members are eligible to join a complimentary Sail & Sustain Mixology experience. Sail & Sustain Mixology experiences are only available on sailings five (5) days or longer. Norwegian reserves the right to cancel these events for any reason at any time, in its sole discretion. In the event of a cancellation, Norwegian will attempt to notify the guest as soon as reasonably possible.
The number of guests on one tour cannot exceed 15 per group. As space is limited, places are allocated on a ‘first come first served basis’. Diamond and Ambassador members may sign up for the event at the CruiseNext desk by 9 pm on embarkation day. Guests will be advised of the details for this benefit including the date, time, and place where this event will take place at the CruiseNext desk on embarkation day. There is no minimum number of guests needed to run the event. Invitations for this event are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash value or other beverage experiences. Norwegian reserves the right to remove any individual from the tasting should such individual behave in a manner which Norwegian deems disruptive.
One-Time Free Cabin Upgrade – Diamond
Diamond members are entitled to receive a one-time complimentary cabin upgrade to a Club Balcony cabin once they reach the Diamond tier. Eligible members will have one year from the day they graduate to Diamond status to book the complimentary cabin upgrade and two years from the day they graduate to Diamond status to sail on the cruise. The complimentary cabin upgrade may only be redeemed once for each member. The rate of the upgrade applies to two guests. Third and fourth guests will sail at prevailing rates. Should two Diamond members desire to claim their one-time complimentary cabin upgrade on the same sailing, only one of the members’ benefits can be redeemed per reservation. To claim the complimentary cabin upgrade, the guest should fill out a Web Form that can be accessed via their My NCL account..
The cabin upgrade is valid for one category (cross-meta) increase from the category that the guest booked. For example, if the guest booked an inside cabin, they would receive a free upgrade to an outside cabin. If the guest booked an Oceanview cabin, they would receive a free upgrade to a Balcony cabin. Upon redeeming the complimentary upgrade to a Club Balcony, the guest may pay to upgrade to a Suite or The Haven if preferred. They will pay the difference from the prevailing Club Balcony rate on the ship and sailing date they are interested in, to the rate of the Suite or The Haven on that same ship and sail date.
There are no destination restrictions, but holiday sailings (Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) are excluded. This benefit is not combinable with other cabin upgrade promotions or offers, including reduced rate cruises. Taxes, fees, port expenses, and service charges are not included. The guest is responsible for pre-paying these charges which will be automatically added to the guest's reservation. Complimentary cabin upgrades are non-transferable..

Special Ambassador Gift – Ambassador
Upon graduation into the Ambassador tier, Ambassador members are eligible to receive a special milestone gift. The gift will be mailed to their home address. If an ambassador does not receive their special milestone gift, they may contact the Latitudes support inbox to request their gift

Complimentary 7-Day Cruise – Ambassador
Ambassador members are entitled to one complimentary 7-day cruise in a Balcony stateroom on any ship on any 7-day itinerary. Eligible members will have one year from the day they graduate to Ambassador status to book the complimentary 7-day cruise and two years from the day they graduate to Ambassador status to sail on the complimentary 7-day cruise. The cruise is for two guests. Third and fourth guests will sail at prevailing rates. Should guests choose to embark on a sailing more than 7-days, they may redeem up to 7-days of the voyage fare for free. Should two Ambassador members be eligible for their complimentary cruise on the same sailing, they can both redeem their benefit and qualify for sailings up to 14-days. If a guest chooses to sail on an 8–13-day sailing, there will be no reimbursement for the total days unredeemed. To claim the complimentary 7-day cruise, the guest must email AmbassadorMembers@ncl.com.
The guest may pay to upgrade from a Balcony to a Suite or The Haven if preferred. They will be responsible for paying the difference from the prevailing balcony rate on the ship and sailing date they are interested in, to the rate of the Suite or The Haven on that same ship and sail date. The guest may pay to add More At Sea to their complimentary 7-day cruise reservation if preferred.

THE PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROGRAM WILL BE ADMINISTERED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NORWEGIAN PRIVACY POLICY.
NORWEGIAN IS NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY OR IN TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) FOR ANY (a) INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS; (b) ACCESS DELAYS OR ACCESS INTERRUPTIONS TO THE PROGRAM; (c) DATA NON-DELIVERY, LOSS, THEFT, MIS-DELIVERY, CORRUPTION, DESTRUCTION OR OTHER MODIFICATION; (d) LOSS OR DAMAGES OF ANY SORT INCURRED AS A RESULT OF USE OF ANY REWARD OR BENEFIT OF THE PROGRAM; (e) COMPUTER VIRUSES, SYSTEM FAILURES OR MALFUNCTIONS WHICH MAY OCCUR IN CONNECTION WITH USE OF THE SITE, INCLUDING DURING HYPERLINK TO OR FROM THIRD PARTY WEBSITES; (f) ANY INACCURACIES OR OMISSIONS IN PROGRAM CONTENT; OR (g) EVENTS BEYOND NORWEGIAN’S REASONABLE CONTROL. NORWEGIAN MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES THAT DEFECTS OR ERRORS WILL BE CORRECTED.
FURTHER NORWEGIAN WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS) RELATED TO THE PROGRAM OR AND PARTICIPATION, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY OR IN TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), EVEN IF NORWEGIAN HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND IN NO EVENT SHALL NORWEGIAN’S MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).
ALL PARTICIPANTS AGREE THAT NO CLAIMS OR ACTION IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY, OR IN TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) ARISING OUT OF, OR RELATED TO, PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM, USE OF ANY REWARDS OR OTHER BENEFIT OR THESE TERMS MAY BE BROUGHT MORE THAN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION RELATING TO SUCH CLAIM OR ACTION AROSE. THE SOLE REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE PROGRAM IS TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP. NORWEGIAN HAS NO OTHER OBLIGATION, LIABILITY, OR RESPONSIBILITY.
