2nd Annual Latitudes Rewards Members Cruise in Alaska

In September 2024, we hosted the extraordinary 2nd Annual Latitudes Rewards Members Cruise, which sailed from Seattle to Alaska. To say the experience was a success would be a serious understatement. 1,700 Latitudes Rewards members joined us for the vacation of a lifetime aboard Norwegian Bliss, where they enjoyed an unforgettable week filled with special events, guest speakers, exclusive tours and more.

This one-of-a-kind journey through The Last Frontier featured an exceptional lineup of authentic Alaskan experiences — including performances, art demonstration,  in-depth tours, and special onboard events available only to our Latitudes Rewards members. From Ketchikan’s stunning Misty Fjords to Glacier Bay’s unparalleled splendor, guests immersed themselves in local culture and immersed themselves in local culture and majestic scenery, all while receiving the full VIP treatment.

Norwegian’s Latitudes Rewards Program is a multi-tiered platform offering a variety of benefits for each tier. After their very first cruise with NCL, guests are automatically enrolled in the program and can immediately unlock a world of rewards. The more you sail, the more points you get, and the higher your status is elevated; translating into exclusive onboard experiences, discounts, members-only offers and much more.

Our Latitudes Rewards members are a loyal and enthusiastic group, so we weren’t surprised by the wild success and joy aboard this year’s Members Cruise.

Highlights of the journey, both on board and off, included:

• The Bacardi Mixology Experience — guests learned how to make a Mojito, Margarita and Espresso Martini and perfected their cocktail-making skills.
• The Historic Skagway Inn Culinary Tour — exclusive to Diamond & Ambassador members.  Attendees enjoyed an interactive culinary experience with local proprietors Karl and Rosemary Klupar and learned how to make homegrown delicacies.
• An Alaskan wood carving demonstration — from Tlingit artist and carver Fred Fulmer.
• The Shop Alaska Scavenger Hunt — During the ‘hunt’, guests were able to support local business and receivd exclusive discounts on purchases at participating retailers.
• A mesmerizing tribal dance performance — from Alaskan tribal dance group Yaaw Tei Yi.

• The Wyland Painting Experience — a “paint along” for teens with a tutorial from famed artist Wyland, who painted the hull of Norwegian Bliss.
• The Mondavi Masterclass — whereby Michael Mondavi explained how to get the most enjoyment from wine and guests sampled his signature vintages. The Mondavi family has been in the wine business for over 100 years, and their knowledge is unparalleled.
• Jersey Boys Behind-the-Scenes Exclusive — The cast of Jersey Boys took our guests through their performance rehearsal and sound check, a truly unique experience.
• The NCL Leadership Panel Discussion— key members of our leadership team spoke to the Latitudes Rewards members and shared exclusive insider details about industry trends, new product developments and more.
